Attorney by Day, Treasure Hunter by Passion: Building a Side Hustle Without Quitting My Career
I came to the U.S. from Lithuania with a suitcase and a stubborn belief that I could build something. A psychology degree, then law school, then a career I'm genuinely proud of as a Florida attorney.
You can love your work and still want a second thing
Law is my profession, and I take it seriously. But I've always had a second engine running — a love of finding beautiful things and the people who light up over them. The two don't compete; they balance each other.
The first box I ever flipped
A storage unit, a hunch, and a weekend later — I'd found a brand-new kind of joy (and not bad money). I was hooked. So I built it the only way a busy mom of five with a day job can: nights and weekends, from my kitchen table.
Treasure found. Friendship included.
Seventy-five thousand items later, the business isn't really about stuff — it's about the community we built around it, all without giving up the career I worked so hard for. If you've got a passion you're scared to start, this is your sign. Come along.
